Almost 1 1/2 years and Still Going Strong

My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer February 2015. It is now April 2016, her markers are down and two tumors have shrunk! Her cancer had spread to one lymph node and has not spread further!

We are realistic, we know our mother will pass, but she is fighting the good fight.

We celebrate all of the victories, small or otherwise. We have had the hard conversations. I have cried myself to sleep may nights knowing there is no remission or cure. This is a slow death.

Every day the sadness will creep up.

But, every day, regardless of the sadness, is a blessing.
