Update: We walked today for a cure @ Jones Beach. Mom walked with us. She is still with us 1 year after diagnosis. Please God she will be one of the ones!

So glad to read that the battle has reached the one year mark! My friend Kate has stage IV, no whipple, given 3 months. She is 17 months into it...with no visible tumor on pancreas or in liver at last scan! We take one day at a time...thankful for each one! I run every race I can to advance the cause of finding a cure for this dreaded disease! Fight on! I believe in miracles!

What a blessing to read your story... Love to hear that Team GG walked to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer Research. Your mom must be proud to have her family walking each step of the journey with her and to know that you all will be an important part of finding the Cure!
