Your Whipple Surgery Story

If you have a Whipple Surgery story to share, then this is the place to do it!

We have worked hard to keep this web site real and honest. Mom and I strive to share only what our family has experienced throughout the pancreatic cancer journey. However, there are things that we think are important to include in the website, even though we haven't had personal experience. One of those topics is the Whipple Surgery. Mom's cancer is inoperable, so obviously, we can't share on any personal insights on this subject. Or pictures... Aren't you glad?!

But it dawned on us that there are many other pancreatic cancer patients who have gone "under the knife," and have a personal story to tell about the Whipple Procedure. Be it funny or sad, long or short, full of details or just to the point, share how the Whipple Surgery changed your life. In this journey together, we have learned to lean on one another for strength, encouragement and insight.

We would be so honored if you would share that story here...

Share your Personal Whipple Surgery Experience with other Pancreatic Cancer Families

Have you or a loved one had the Whipple Surgery as a part of your pancreatic cancer treatment? We want to hear all about it. Did it go well? Were there complications? Do you have tips to share to make someone else's experience better?

As you know, this website is all about sharing our experience with pancreatic cancer as honestly and openly as we can. Since Mom's pancreatic cancer is inoperable, we have not experienced the Whipple Procedure personally. But I know there are many of you out there that have been up close and personal with this surgical technique. Please share your story with us. In so doing, you may be helping others along the road in their own pancreatic cancer journey. Your words may be just what they needed to hear today...
